Characteristics of Copper Plated Steel Fiber Products:

Using steel wire as the raw material and cold drawing technology, and employing the technique of bending hooks at both ends, this shape ensures optimal adhesion between the steel fibers and concrete, allowing the steel fibers to fully utilize their functions. Thus, the tensile strength of steel fibers can be fully utilized. The manufacturing of steel fibers follows China's JG/T3064-1999 steel fiber reinforced concrete construction industry standards, YB/T151-1999 "Steel Fibers for Concrete" black metallurgy industry standards, and ASTM A820-90 "Steel Fibers for Fiber Reinforced Concrete" standards. The fracture toughness of copper plated steel fibers is as high as 40000j/m2, which is 250 times that of ordinary concrete and comparable to aluminum metal; The chloride ion permeability is 1/25 of that of high-strength concrete, and its anti permeability ability is extremely strong; After 300 rapid freeze-thaw cycles, the sample remained undamaged with a durability factor of up to 100%; The ratio of the flexural strength of prestressed active powder concrete beams to their own weight is close to that of steel beams. The application of RPC in engineering structures can solve the shortcomings of current high-strength and high-performance concrete, such as insufficient tensile strength, high brittleness, and poor volume stability. At the same time, it can also solve the problems of high investment, poor fire resistance, and susceptibility to corrosion in steel structures.


From an engineering application perspective, active powder concrete has the following advantages:


RPC can effectively reduce the self weight of structures. RPC has high compressive and shear strength, and thinner or innovative cross-sectional shapes can be used in structural design, resulting in a much lighter self weight of the structure compared to ordinary concrete structures.  


⑵ It can significantly improve the durability of the structure. RPC material reduces the thickness and range of the interface transition zone. The reduction of aggregate particle size reduces the probability of its own defects, and the defects of the entire matrix also decrease. RPC is very dense and has extremely low porosity. It can not only prevent radioactive substances from leaking from the inside, but also resist the corrosion of external corrosive media, improving the overall uniformity, strength, and durability of the system.  


Components designed with RPC can greatly reduce the amount of stirrups and load-bearing bars, and even eliminate the need for stirrups.
